Hannah Johnson, LPC

Hannah completed her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Syracuse University and has multiple years of experience practicing therapy with adults of all ages.

Hannah finds joy in supporting individuals who live with a range of mental health concerns, including depressive disorders, acute and chronic stress, grief and loss, problems related to life transitions, relationship concerns, and identity and self-esteem issues. She also has a special interest in working with those experiencing anxiety disorders, OCD and related disorders, and challenges unique to those in the LGBTQ+ community.

To meet her clients’ diverse needs, Hannah uses skills and techniques based in Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and DBT-informed Mindfulness approaches.

Hannah believes that building a strong working relationship based in empathy and trust is essential to the therapeutic process. By setting clear goals to guide therapy, communicating clearly and often about progress, and creating an environment that supports both practical skill building and deep reflection, she strives to help the people she works with achieve long-lasting change.
